The debut feature film INJURED RESERVE by Director/Writer Tyler Mckenzie Evans, produced by Claire Desmarais and Malachi Ellis, broke through a record number of submissions and was officially selected to be pitched at the 15th edition of the co-production market, which runs in conjunction with 2026 Fantasia International Film Festival.

Currently in the packaging and early financing stage, INJURED RESERVE is a psychological thriller about a Black basketball prodigy who struggles to preserve her sanity upon suffering a career-threatening injury shortly after a mysterious new player joins her team. It follows SEA STAR as the second collaboration between Evans, Desmarais, and Ellis, with Damon D’Oliveira joining the team as Executive Producer.
